Colouring our candles and frosting
• All our candles are hand-crafted so no two candles are the same, they also may have slight imperfections and color variations which makes them even more special and unique.
• Soy wax may sometimes have something called “ frosting”
• Frosting is a perfectly natural effect of soy wax.
• It is caused by the natural soy wax molecules to re-crystallize and forms crystals under the surface.
• If the frosting is visible on the surface it can appear to have a white, powdery, or frosty look.
It's very minimal and we do everything we can do avoid this by pouring in the correct temperatures but it is still sometimes unavoidable.
